Hi, I’m Harriet.
For a long time, my world was a corporate one.
I spent years working in busy environments, first for the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and later with The Welding Institute.
It was a rewarding career, but life shifted beautifully when I welcomed my two amazing children, Lola and Immie.
Becoming a mum opened my eyes to a whole new world, but it also brought its own set of challenges.
Following a difficult recovery from a natural birth, I quickly realised how tricky it can be to navigate your way back to fitness. Beyond the physical recovery, simply finding the time and mental space for yourself as a mum can feel almost impossible.
When the girls were still relatively young, I discovered Mini Athletics.
I fell in love with its mission and took the leap to purchase the franchise for the Stevenage, Hitchin and Royston areas.
Speaking with other local parents week after week, a lightbulb went off. I realised I wasn’t alone in my struggles, and so many women were searching for a safe, supportive way to reclaim their bodies and confidence.
That realisation sparked a new passion, and I set out on the journey to become a qualified personal trainer. Since then, I haven’t looked back.
While I absolutely love inspiring young children to run, jump and throw through Mini Athletics, I believe it is equally vital to look after the parents.
Strength and Wellness with Harriet was born from that belief.
I am here to help you find time for yourself, recover safely, and either fall back in love – or grow a brand-new love – for fitness and wellbeing in a healthy, sustainable and peaceful way.
